Looks like fun! I am not travelling for a little while, much as it would be fun to run the 62 with bigger/new tires and better steering. Have a great one.

Thanks, I have been watching the build thread but did not pick out those specific posts,,,
I do have a question, in looking at the SCCA CAM rules, I believe that you are running in the CAM T (traditional) category. The T group has a 3000 lb weight minimum. Are they checking that and did you need to add weight to the car?

Oh that's interesting. I did not know that. Heavy... I assume that is with driver. I would have to add 200 lbs to either Valiant to make that. The 68 turbo Dart is fine as is and not much above that. I am not competitive and it looks like Greg and I are the only ones entered in CAM/T in the one we are running this Saturday in Salem, VA. I bet Greg+Dart meet that weight min.

I dont know if I am quite Legal for it.

I have not scaled the car yet but may be able to soon.

If Not Legal for Cam - T (when I registered for the first auto X that's where they recommended I be classed in the '69 dart which is over 3000# fo' sho' ) then I can move into Cam-S.
