| Post subject: | AC condenser mounting |
Good morning, I’m doing a new AC kit on my ‘74 factory air duster, I’m looking to see what others have done with there condenser mounts. I don’t like the brackets in the kit, I’d like to try and use the factory mounting points if possible. If anyone has some pictures that’s would be great! Thanks! |

FWIW, if they are same brackets I got with my Vintage Air kit, they actually work pretty well. The only pictures I have are in this article I wrote years ago. http://www.slantsix.org/articles/vintag ... ge_Air.htm |

Thanks, yeah I looked at that article first, not bad , however mine aren’t the same. I’m just fabricating mounts to use the factory mount points. I’ll post some pictures when done, that way it gives others the idea. All and all aftermarket AC kits, enter at your own risk. |
