South race in the summer is now confirmed to be Sebring. Tentative plans for the Escape Velocity Turbo Dart include:
Gulf Region-Track TBA (Late March?)
Sebring (May 8-9)
MSR Houston (November 13-14)

If one of those falls through, we might consider adding National Corvette Museum or Road Atlanta. Pitt is unfortunately too far of a drive for us.

You can share HANS devices, but usually people have their own. You at least want 2 so you can do driver changes faster, and they need to be adjusted to each person's body.

I was going to race with another team at Barber.

Adam and I are hoping to race ToadRacer at Sebring, NCM, RA and Barber (next year).

The late March race was confirmed to be NOLA a few weeks ago. I guess it took them some time to come to an agreement. We're planning to do that race with the Turbo Dart, assuming it doesn't get cancelled.

One note about head and neck restraint systems. While a team can certainly share one unit, you need to make sure everyone has the right hardware installed on their helmet. HANS, Necksgen, Zamp, etc. all use different helmet-side connectors.

Wow! I wasn't aware there wasn't a HANS standard for that?! Guess it didn't occur to Me. Are there such things as as hookup "adapters", or would that be verboten?

No adapters to switch from type to type. The adapters aren't that expensive and are easy to install.

Hey Greg! There is an F body racing at the Pitt Maneuver this weekend! Powered by a Cobalt 4 banger, but still pretty cool.

Interesting. Thanks for sharing. No spectators from what I understand.

Tomorrow should be a better day as today is cold and gloomy.
Great day to do garage work and oil pan futzing.
