OK- much, if not most, of the information in this manual is out of date or refers to obsolete or no longer available parts. Back then, there used to be a guy who ran a Duster with a Slant at the drags. He ran right at 14.0 flat. He was sorta universally 'hated' because of the way it sounded. I was at his shop one time and he had a HyperPak intake hanging on the wall, that was the first time I ever saw one, though I should note he ran an Offy 4 barrel intake on his car and kept the HyperPak as a wallhanger. |

That's because in the real world a H-Pak intake needs a lot of work to be decent. I still have my Slant Racing Manual from 1973. I don't think I have looked in it for 20 years......... |
