Hmm, slowly cranking can be a bunch of things, but assuming your engine was fine before this incident, make sure the battery is good and then the starter, and the cabling between. Try a known good battery first and make sure your cables aren't corroded

Check your cables and make sure they aren't corroded and clean. Make sure you have a good charged battery. Next put the car in park or neutral with a block, and short the terminals on the solenoid and starter to see where there might be a faulty connection/bad part....

You can also pull your coil wire from the distributor and have a friend roll the engine over, point the wire at the alternator with a 1/2" gap between, and see if you have spark, after that you can hook it back up then check a spark plug wire the same way....

If you have spark and power, check to make sure you have gas delivered to the carb, or the carb is actually squirting fuel....

Next after that I'd pull the cap off my distributor and roll the crank back and forth via either the crank bolt and wrench, or grabbing the fan and moving by hand.

You either have a bad connection, bad starter or relay, or if you roll the engine and the rotor in the distributor takes some time to catch up to the rotation, then the timing chain needs replacing badly, otherwise just some thing simple like a new cap and rotor might be the key...

those are common problems to mopars...

let us know what you find.

if the battery and charging system check out, check your valves to see if they are opening and closing. I stuck mine with bad gas and the engine went from champ to chump over night.

New or old, it is time to do some basic trouble shooting as suggested above.
On a "slow cranking" problem, I grab a known good battery and some jumper cables and hook directly to the starter to by-pass all the other stuff "up-stream".
With known 12-14 volts and lot's of amps to the starter direct, if it still cranks slow, I will swap-in another.

If putting power directly to the starter cures the problem, start looking at the battery and connections. Batteries can "loose a cell" at any time, then you will only have 10 or 8 or 6 volts. (each cell provides 2 volts)
