Can a 61 valiant/ lancer k frame be swapped with a 62-66 k frame to use more standardized steering box and lower control arms? Thanks Sages, Greg |

Yes. Swap it all. There is a guy on FABO who changed the K but left his frame mount steering box. I don't think that was a good idea. |

Yep. Bolt in swap and nice to have the later steering box. |

I think he had a rebuilt box, so wanted to keep it. I think you will have to change or modify the column. But it's a LOT better system. As you know just about unchanged till 1976. |
