Does the camshaft end plug (frost plug) on the back of the block just get driven in flush? It looks like there is a deeper recess to drive it into if needed. Thanks |

I'd drive it in until it hits the cam, then back it out 1/8", if you know what I mean. |

It's just a core plug and not intended to be in contact with the cam. The timing sprocket serves as the cam stop from the other end. |
