I just finished rebuilding my 225 and want to know what break in oil is recommended? I plan to use 10W30 afterward. Thanks!! Gary |

I use about any conventional 10w30 and a bottle of Comp Engine break in additive and a cheap oil filter. Leave that in for about 50 miles of use. Drain that, re fill with conventional 10w30 another bottle of the Comp break in additive a good filter and run that for 500 or so miles. Change that out and go with a normal service change frequency and the motor oil you plan to use. This is for a vehicle that will see near daily normal use. |
