Cleaning out the basement, I found 6 new Autolite #16 spark plugs. These show as being "non-resistor", vs. the correct # 26 resistor plugs. Does anyone know if running these non-resistor plugs will have any adverse effects on the 1975 Mopar electronic ignition components? I'd rather toss them than damage any other components. (I normally run NGK UR4 / 6630.) |

I have autolite 16 in my 1975 Plymouth duster and works good. The only thing is when i checked the resistance from tip center electrode to round pin where plug in spark wire was high resistance 50 k ohm. I think there was a coating on tip so i lightly filed tip till i could get a low resistance reading. |

As long as there's resistance in the wires, you'll be fine. |
