Hi /6 Forum My first time here Found you while searching for help for my 80 year old father-in-law He's leery of driving his 67 Dart with 50 thousand on the odo cause it's hard to park! This conversion is not that hard if you have all the parts. Here is what you will need: Power steering gear box (steering box) Power steering pump and bracket. (find the bracket first and match the pump to that) Dampener PS Pulley. this needs to match the PS Pump Beacket so the belt lines up correctly) Steering shaft or column. This is the tough piece to find. The power box is larger so the steering shaft is shorter. Also the coupler id (spline) smaller for the power steering box. Thry to find a complete PS column with all the related parts. Hoses and belts can be bouight new from the Auto Parts store. DD |

Doesn't somebody make column adapters? Or was that from power column to manual box, not the other way around? |
