After the banquet I was thinking about efforts to honor those we've lost recently as well as to inspire new support.
My first thought was whether the Missing Man formation used by pilots could be adapted to work with cars.
Then I thought about (mostly stupid) 'World Records' that we hear about all the time, and here's the result:
The World's Largest Simultaneous Slant Six Burnout, with Ron's Dart (Ron) and Lou's Dart (Chris) in the center. (If I missed any others, please forgive me)
Line up anything with line lock or that can do a brake stand against one wall (or staging lanes, or...).
After the smoke gets rolling, the tribute cars pull out of formation and head down the track.
Maybe I'm crazy and you'd need a cooperative track, but I thought it might be cool.
Thereafter, the Record would continue to need to be reset at subsequent events
