I am thinking about putting a small turbo on my stock slant. It is a 71 engine I adjusted the valves and did a compression test while still warm and got 115,120 115 120 120 130. What minimum should I look at for 6-7 lbs Of boost Thanks |

No minimum needed. Only risk is blowby, but that will be what it is and you'll just have to live with smoke or not see any. Those numbers are not terrible and you should be able to run 6-7 PSI. I assume it does not burn (much) oil now? You will see a huge gain if everything is tuned right. EFI? Whether or not EFI, make sure you have a good AFR gauge (AEM is my favorite). Lou |

Not burning oil now. Would like efi but not in budget. Probably 2 barrel holley which I have. Which Aem do you recommend? |
