Post subject:  Slant 6 Springnationals Mo-Kan Dragway April 17th 2021
1/4 mile Slant 6 drag racing at its finest at Smokin' Mo-Kan Dragway, Asbury, MO on April 17th 2021. Gates open at 10 and racing around 1PM. Test and tune and overnight camping Friday, April 16th.
$250 to win, $100 for second place. Slant bracket requires $20.00 entry fee to the guy with the silver 66 Dart wagon. Purse in guaranteed. Over 18 cars for the first round, the purse goes up.
If you are not mentioned in the audio of the attachment please don't be offended as we couldn't list everyone in a 60 second radio ad.

The #43 Go-Dad-Go SDRA dragster will be there. I’m trying to get the #42 SDRA dragster there (aka Bill Kendall, my dad). He’s got a little issue with his 904 that needs sorted out.

The weather is not looking good for Friday.
Saturday is a toss up. No rain date.
Hate to be negative but Mo-Kan can't handle a lot of water and Saturday will be low 50's cloudy and windy.
I know I am supposed to say everything will work out but I wouldn't travel very far to a race with this forecast.

The good news is the great crew at Mokan have moved the event to Sunday the 18th. This should be much better weather and racing. I know this puts people in a bind, but I am hopeful most if not all that were planning to come can still make it.

The #42 "Wasted Money III" SDRA dragster will not be there. Still some issues with torque converter. A new one has been ordered, but it's 3 weeks out.

I traveled with this forecast to Clay City last year. What's the problem?
AND I have an open car trailer! :mrgreen:

It was posted on Moparts yesterday that today was already canceled and moved to tomorrow.
