I just removed my instrument cluster on my 66 valiant 225 to install a speedo and temp gauge, both of which I'd sent out for repair. I disconnected the battery and reinstalled the gauges, replugging everything in as I had unplugged. butttoned it all up, reconnected the battery tried the key and nothing. no response from anything but the horn.I checked all the fuses and the fusible link on the firewall and had continuity on all. Any ideas, anyone? Thanks! |

Just hoping you can update us here. We'll be working on this Valiant 225 soon after we finished installing the headache rack and tonneau covers on the truck this weekend and clear the garage. It may need a new cluster and exhaust after the owner's son "messed" on it. |

My '66 Dart had the same symptoms after I burned out the ammeter.
