Go to Google and type in Bob's MoPar Muscle Page. It dosn't have fender tag info, but click on Broadcast Sheet decoder and the letters with the numbers are the same. One thing I don't know, however, is if the '79 codes are the same. The letters with numbers are the option codes and trim/paint codes for your car

N=Dodge Aspen
L=Low price group
41=4 door sedan
D=225 slant six 2 barrel-----'Super Six'
9=1979
F=Made in Newark, DE

173087= Production number

E26=225-2v Super Six
D34=Standard Automatic Transmission
L31=Hood and Fender Mounted turn signals
M26=Wheel Lip Mouldings
M43=Grille Trim Mouldings
N88=Auto Speed Control (Cruise Control)
N93=Delete ESA and Catalytic Convertor
A1=Light Package

Sorry, can't decipher your trim code....it should be 4 digits starting at the left hand side of the tag second line from the bottom....when these tags get posted you want post them as they appear line by line on your car, it make it easier to read (placement of the codes in the first two lines is important)

My guess would be:
RA2=Pewter Gray Metallic
000=Full Door Panels

That should get you close enough...

Wow thanks , The Beast is in allmost original condition , -thou the Beast is black now days and has a diffrent hood.

I managed to save the Beast before total destruction.
The past owner had removed the Original Gastank and replaced it with an old rundown more holes then a swiss cheese trans am tank , ( We discoved that later....)sugar, tin , you name it , it was there ,
LOL, man wonder what He´ll do to the trans am....frikkin freak.....
Engien was all cloged up and all kinds of DiY..

Any Ideas where to find these parts :

Good Carb combination
Basic Engien tuneup kit
Return-unit that goes on top of the Gastank
Leaf spring clamps ( i guess their called that )
