I spent some time with Howard Davis over Thanksgiving weekend... and, as is my normal routine, I tried to get him to commit to coming to a Slant 6 race... :roll: :lol:

I suggested that if I could put together a race with a separate class/group/section/whatever of them fast fellers & come up with a decent payout just fer them... would he, could he...? (Probably not still, but I ain't gived up yet...)

Anyway,... Here's some fellers what run purdy quick lately (gittin' 'em all in the same place with runnin' cars is gonna be the kicker)... Let me know what I got wrong or missed... Then discuss amongst yerselves...

(edit: I removed Will Burns as his two Barracudas are in some transition currently. I also bumped the two HAGR/SDRA rails to the Honorable Mention category since they ain't got doors to slam and therefore would not qualify for Fast Four/Top Eliminator. That don't mean we don't want 'em there! It just means they're a little different... :lol: :wink: )

I could likely make it to any race you schedule. But, since I am the slowest of the fast, It isn't much worth my time unless everyone else broke. :D :D

Don't forget the current rules say it is a "door car" class.

A little off subject, but maybe you could have a Best (fastest) in Class award at each race? This would be the SSRN classes.

Just asking, but does Will's car exist anymore? I had heard the motor was in a street car.

Mine won't ever be fastest anything.

I will try to put some effort into this. I am sick of my cars running the same or slower times for the last 3-4 years... Plenty of parts on hand, just need to put stuff together.

They didn't race it this year, but it's sitting in the trailer ready to roll. Adam got to see it recently.

A-D is fer dem door cars... AA is whatevah...

Hey Dennis,

What are your 1/8th mile splits? I saw you post your 1/4 mile times, but not the 1/8. My OCD wants to know... :lol:

It's been as fast as 8.22, but usually runs 8.3X around 83 mph.

I do want to step it up some, I was in the Top 5 slowest cars when I was at the Twin $15K race last month. I was in an ocean of 5.90-6.20 cars. (250 or so cars entered)
