Follow up post. Seems they are made in Oz and can be found here: Pretty sure they've been available in Australia for a while now as a reproduction item. I know some place does them like the original material, but there's also these ones.... If you go to buy one of the repro plastic ones, make sure they've solved the problems before you spend the money. Paintable steel looks nice. Stainless steel??? No way! Wrong material unless you like your eyes getting stabbed with sun reflections (and even short of that, your vision impaired by reflections off the windshield. |
