Just saw that Dr. Diff is selling a bolt in big bolt pattern axle for the small pattern 7-1/4 rears. 9 and 10 inch drums too. That should make disc brake swaps somewhat easier. No idea on pricing. |

But personally, even though I am/was a fan of the 7 1/4, I just can't see spending any money on one. Just too hard to find parts for them. I have a couple of sbp axles that have been redrilled. It is not a big deal. Drums are even easier to redrill. |

Thanks for sending this along. Glad to see this is produced. If you are running a stock slant as a cruiser the 7.25 is just fine. This will make my disc brake conversion much simpler. |
