Does anyone know the tork spek for the pressure plate bolts on a 66 /6?

I am sure I have that Information somewhere in a service Manual...If I can remember when I am at home I will look it up and post it.

If you are using the proper bolts and lock washers It's not super tight - I know I have Broken those off before when I got "torque happy"

ARP sells a nice replacement set of those as well.

Wow 15 ft-lbs. That is nothing. Sounds like vibration backout city. I usually do it by hand/feel to 30-40 for 5/16" PP bolts, and at least 80 ft-lbs on the flywheel to crank. None broken so far. I have used long PP bolts and nuts on the backside to lock them also.

I know I have broken stock ones So that 15# is probably correct. Prolly Not a Worry if you go a Few Ft/lb More with the ARP's and Red Loctite.

No Reason I would hesitate to use loctite Red on the stock Bolts as well.

Lou, I see your point on a more performance oriented build. Service manual specs were for smooth running one barrels screaming for air with teeny tiny valves at 3600 RPM.
