have a 73 swinger. new shocks all around. on a not too bad bump the right front bottoms out. are the torsion bars bad or what else could it be thanx |

Does that side sit lower than the other... Park it on a flat slab and sit down in front of the car and check. - Your probably right about it being the bars. There are aftermarket ones that you can get that will stiffen up the ride for better handling and ones that are closer to OEM. Joe |

Junk yard springs will probably be worn out - or the springs you put on might be bad too... - You might try adjusting the springs before you try anything else. The spring rate can be adjusted on Torshon bars... Joe |

it sits level and there is about 6 inches between the tire and the top of the wheel well so they're pretty much adjusted as far as they'll go. the fronts too high the rears too low .need to fix it |
