Hi All,
Has anyone every removed the headliner retaining band that looks like the photo? I'm guessing I twist it somehow, but wanted to check before going to town on it.

Just a guess, but it looks like you need a small pair of 90* needle nose and squeeze the base to pull it out. |

I had tried squeezing them with a pair of pliers already, but it really felt like I was forcing something. The slot looks more like you would shove a screwdriver into it and twist much more than squeeze. |

Squeeze, twist 90° and pull toward the tool operator to remove. You will not damage anything. those are tough Clips. Put some muscle into them and you will be fine! Greg |
