My how time flys.sorry about the delay lou.
Heres the low down
83 225 out of a 83 d250 GSA truck with a solid throw steel crank-only polished and oil holes chamfered
0.040 over bore
0.015 cut off the block for a piston installed height of .143
.050 cut off the head
oregan cam grinders cut the cam for grind1229 on the intake and 59 on the exhaust with a lobe separation of 108 installed at 103
using true roller double row timing chain
340 valve springs and lifters,Smith Bro push rods cut for .020 of preload
Hurricane intake
Dutra exhaust
2 1/4 duals to a flow master fx with 3 in tail pipe out before the rear tire
2330 500 cfm Holley 2 bbl- 5 inch power valve and 71 jets
GM hei conversion
16 degrees initial timing with a total of 36 at 27000
It took a while to get broken in and set up.
It has a A883 od trans-rear gear is 2.98 from an automatic and it pulls hard. It will need a posi if I change the rear gear as it has no problem lighting up the open end tire now- and breaking loose if on it and going over a bump with my foot in it abover1800 rpm
The is it is quite at 2,000 rpm @ 55 mph in 3rd. Load it down and it barks like a cummins or old mac diesel

What is this engine in? It sounds like a nice build.
