| Post subject: | Rear spring bushings |
Having trouble finding the main (front) leaf spring bushings for my 71 Valiant. Seems the larger bushings with the 5/8" eye bolt are plentiful, but not the4 smaller ones like I have. Anyone know a source? Looks like mine have about a 1" diameter eye. |

I believe there were 3 different spring eye bolt sizes through the years I would go with the most commonly available (most likely the largest) and redrill the hanger for the larger bolt. Also pay attention to the orientation of the bolt so the next person can remove it if the springs ever need to be removed again. |

71 should have an 1-1/2" bushing and a 1/2" bolt. You have to have the right bushing for the spring eye. |
