Rumor has it that the Hyperpak manifold wont fit in the engine bay of a D150 if it has power brakes. Is this true? Has anybody tried it? I am thinking of going with this manifold instead of the usual clifford/offy 4bbl manifold, I mean more of a straight shot to the head ports so it would flow better, right? Thing is, I want to keep my power brakes if at all possible. The thing's a bear to stop as it is with the power brakes! I can't imagine what it would be like with manual brakes.

The manifold is something like 26" long if you measure from the 3/4 runners where they attach to the head. In my Duster if it had power brakes it wouldn't work (it stops about 2-3" off my driver's side fenderwell).

I can get some more measurements tonight as time allows.

I know that in my 60 Val power brakes are a definate no-no and when I held it up in the engine compartment in my 71 dodge d-100 it looked real tight. Some vans in the late 70s and early 80s had an offset master and power booster that might work in your application, maybe.

Thanks guys, I'm going out to do some measuring real soon. I'll have to investigate the offset booster setup in the B-vans, that might be an option if it will fit. That is if its needed. Now if only I knew where I put that tape measure........
