Bought this 1960 Dodge Dart Phoenix sedan on Craigslist, Fall of 2021. Car originally from Virginia, now in New Jersey. Original color was all white, which someone repainted gray. Repainted the roof white (by hand). Then got a completely new professional paint job top to bottom (Aqua Blue Metallic w/ white roof). Car has the 225 cubic inch six, push-button TorqueFlite, power steering, modern power brakes, electronic ignition, electric fuel pump, alternator, re-upholstered seats and headliner. Runs and drives really well!

Nice clean car. Very unique. That back end is throwing every styling cue Detroit had to offer back then.

You sure do not see many of those around.

Nice find!

First year Driver's side Power steering Pump, Thermostat Outlet with extended screw mounting holes , and valve cover with out the notch.

Cool stuff.

Bring it to Carlisle in the summer!

In 1960, Dodge built 28,198 top-of-the-line Phoenix 4-door sedans, but only 3,305 of them had slant sixes.

Just curious on the progress of that nice ride!

Still looking and running fine. Had to have some rather expensive brake work done, including rear seal. Other than that, things are good. "Torsion-Aire" rides better than a Cadillac of the period (in my opinion).

Don't forget Draft Tube and drivers side Alt.
I think it was a generator in full size cars in 60, but changed here.

Yes, the only two '60 Mopars to get an alternator in regular production were the Valiant and the Imperial. The big '60 cars with 225 engines had a generator on the manifold side. Where are you seeing a "changed here" alternator? I see the power steering pump, but I don't see a pic taken from an angle where we can see the generator (or alternator, if one has been swapped in).

Yes, a previous owner did replace the generator with an alternator. (Which, I believe, also has modern voltage regulation circuitry built in.)
