Hello all, I've been reading on here about 2 barrel options, I have just found a factory cast iron 2 barrel manifold. I've been trying to work out Carter serial numbers but not sure what model would be most suitable. I have a 73 Scamp auto that is pretty much factory standard. I'm in the UK so finding parts is going to be a challenge, although new Weber's are readily available. Thanks - Chris. |

Chris, I suggest you contact SlantSixDan as I believe he said he has some new-old-stock Carter BBD 2bbl carbs that he can sell. Those are great carbs if you can find a good one. Lou |

Bendix-Stromberg WW 2bbls, they are. At least as great as (greater than, in some respects) the Carter BBD. Send me a PM if you like, and I'll see what I still have. |
