I have a short block with stuck pistons.
It was under a house in the crawl space.
Looking for recommendations to remove the pistons.
Vinegar?
Molasses?
Black magic?
It's going to be bored so not worried about the walls.
Just don't want to cave one in beating on it.

Sit it up and pour turpentine in the holes. Let sit a couple days.

Put your favorite oil of choice on it...kano kroil etc. along with a rotary cup wire brush on say a 4" or 4.5" angle grinder to clean up the schmuck.

Hammer away from the bottom.

I am going to try hot water circulating through the water jacket, while putting bits of dry ice on the back side of the piston crowns, with Free All penetrant sitting in the skirts... Hopeful that the two competing thermal forces will allow the Free All to work.

There has GOT to be an entertaining back-story here. :) :?:

I wish there was a good story, but it's not.
A brain surgeon engineer type I used to work with, pull the slant and put it under the house.
So in VA they have a 3 foot crawl space with dirt.
I don't know how long it sat.
He comes to me at work and asked me if I wanted a slant.
Should have said no.
