Rumor has it that the Hyperpak manifold wont fit in the engine bay of a D150 if it has power brakes. Is this true? Has anybody tried it? I am thinking of going with this manifold instead of the usual clifford/offy 4bbl manifold, I mean more of a straight shot to the head ports so it would flow better, right? Thing is, I want to keep my power brakes if at all possible. The thing's a bear to stop as it is with the power brakes! I can't imagine what it would be like with manual brakes. |

The manifold is something like 26" long if you measure from the 3/4 runners where they attach to the head. In my Duster if it had power brakes it wouldn't work (it stops about 2-3" off my driver's side fenderwell). I can get some more measurements tonight as time allows. -D.Idiot |

I know that in my 60 Val power brakes are a definate no-no and when I held it up in the engine compartment in my 71 dodge d-100 it looked real tight. Some vans in the late 70s and early 80s had an offset master and power booster that might work in your application, maybe. Slanted Attitude |

Thanks guys, I'm going out to do some measuring real soon. I'll have to investigate the offset booster setup in the B-vans, that might be an option if it will fit. That is if its needed. Now if only I knew where I put that tape measure........ |
