What is the preferred location for an inline fuel filter? Near the fuel pump outlet or near the carb inlet? |

I really don't think it would make enough difference to worry about. I would mount it where it is convenient to change and the least susceptible to heat soak.

Fuel filter placement has a strong influence on hot-engine starting and running behaviour (or misbehaviour). Read about this in the instructions for the fuel line mod, and in this post and the one right after it. |
