I looked in sever parts books, and the bushings are not listed as a separate part, only as a "housing with bushings". You could contact Halifax Hops. He is on FABO and rebuilds Mopar distributers. I'll send you a PM with his contact info.

Huh I thought I had a reply here that I ain't seeing pop up

Measure the shaft diameter, see if you can pop one out and measure the outer diameter of the bushing and the length, band hit up eBay
Is berry bearing still around by you? If anyone would have those it would be them. I'm sure something else besides the/6 uses such a bushing

2275 228 and then 2585 021, but no sign of availability. They're plain old oilite bushings; just extract the old ones and match 'em up by size at the likes of McMaster-Carr.

I have a big drawer full of distributors. I'm not sure I've ever seen one that was too loose to use, but maybe a couple out of the 100 I've had in my hands. We can likely find one for you.

No I have plenty. I was trying to teach Andrew how to go through them and rebuild/clean...etc. them. And his bearings have a good bit of play, so I just thought we would replace them and do it right. I have some in a box too if I need them.

Dan, can you tell me where you found the part numbers? I checked a few part books, and didn't see them.

Part type code 8-27-133 . The later part number is in the '70-'71 FPC, and the earlier one is in the '63 FPC. No such type code in the '73 FPC, just housing-with-bearings.

Thanks, I just didn't look in the right year manuals.

I've seen those bearings from time to time pop up on different sites, but couldn't tell if they were for a slant cause i couldn't find them in my FPC. My dist. is a little wobbly, but haven't looked at it that close. I pretty much thought they were for 8's.

Off the top of youur head, are 74's supposed to have them?

Thanks, 74

All-year distributors have them—\6 and V8. Chrysler stopped listing them separately in '72 or '73.
