Aftermarket pushrods for the RG blocks (198ci and 225ci) are everywhere. Pushrods for the G block (170ci) have been trickier for me to find. This is probably old news to many of you, but it may be helpful to a few: Egge Part #48035 seems to be the correct pushrod for a 170ci slant six. I was told over the phone that they measure 8 25/64" (~8.3906"). I've ordered a set; let's see if they work.

Just spitballin here. I used to make my own pushrods, when TRW had their engine parts catalog with size charts in the back. I would look up a 3/8 pushrod that was longer then what I needed, with the correct ends. Then removed the cup end (just pushed in) cut the tubing to the length I needed with a tubing cutter (or lathe). Take a drill bit and bore the open end slightly to the correct size, then push in the cup end. easy peasey. Mopar performance used to sell a cut to fit push rod kit for the V-8's that would also fit the slant six. I wonder if a company like Smith Bros. would sell a kit similar (tube with ball end, and loose cup end) to that if you weren't sure exactly what you needed.

https://www.pushrods.net/

This company has been made and delivered all slant six pushrods what I have needed. I have had a shortened pushrods because of milling of the block and head. Excellent rods for hi perf use. With the old style head the clearance of the holes of the head and oversize pushrods has to be checked carefully. I have seen some signs of light touch there.
