Slant Six Racers, I heard from Knoxville and Sept 20-21 is on for a Slant 6 race there. Anyone have a problem with this date? I will ask for races on Fri eve and Saturday, or I might convince him to do 2 races on Saturday if people prefer that. Please let me know soon. Lou Knoxville on that date may be Ok, but may not. My wife has a 60th birthday, My grandson's birthday and Ryan and Whitney's 20th anniversary are all that week on the same day. I will do some checking and let you know as soon as I can. Although if that works for everyone else go for it! |

Currently, that Date seems okay for me. Knoxville is a bit of a tow for me maybe ~4 hours past Clay City. I will try to make it but no guarantees yet. Thanks for sorting this all out. Greg |

Knoxville race is finally confirmed for Friday Sept 20 (evening) and Saturday Sept 21. 1/8th mile drag racing on both days. See y'all there! Lou |

Where is everyone staying for the Knoxville race? I know some have camped out at the Burners before, but I'm looking for accommodations for the wife and kid. Shawn Verneris is coming from the Tulsa area as well. Lots of hotels around northern part of downtown Knoxville. Lou: Do know the ones we should stay away from? |
