I have found that the valve cover and gasket for an industrial engine is different than a regular engine. Does anyone know where to find one. I have had no luck with NAPA or any other parts store. |

If it is a 1986 it may have a hydraulic head and lifters in it. In passenger cars and trucks this change happened for the 1981 year. Try one of these... https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/dod ... sket,10710 Or go back to your parts store and ask for a gasket for a 1981 dodge diplomat or d150 truck with a 225 slant 6. Better yet post a picture of your lift's valve cover in the front right corner near the coil and we can tell you which gasket it will need. |

Thanks for the information, I will check on it tomorrow. It is hydraulic lifters so that may very well be the case. |
