Hi there In response to all the turbo info that is in the forum, I thought I'd post a question that someone may be able to help me with: Does anyone know the specs on the 301 pontiac turbo ie. the Garrett AiResearch model TB0305 turbocharger? It was the suck-through unit that had a quadrajet mounted on top. At this site: http://publish.uwo.ca/~agrehorn/301shrine.html all i could find out was this: "Part of the problem with the 301 turbo engine is the turbocharger itself: the compressor air ratio of the TB0305 is a V6-calibre 0.60, which is simply not big enough to cram in 4.9L worth of material under 10 psi (indeed, most 301Ts are lucky to generate 7.5 psi)..." This sounds to me like it might be the right size, but without knowing the actual map, etc. it's trial and error (not ideal). Any info out there? Thanks in advance Chris |
