Post subject:  Super Six Throttle linkage
Hi guys,
Setting up all my linkage and carb on my 225. I have some pieces and missing some too. Unfortunately, the PO eliminated all the throttle pressure pieces as it had a 4-speed behind it.
I have the bracket that mounts to the manifold, missing the carb to pivot arm rod/slide (the slotted and curved one), whichever you would call it. I have a pivot arm, but not sure if it's the correct one. The one I have measures 1 3/4" center to center on the rods. If someone knows if this is correct, that would be great.
If someone has the rod/slide between the carb and pivot that would be willing to part with (sell) or even make a template of it, I could make one, if need be.
Either way any help would be appreciated, Thanks

I haven't been looking hard for it lately, but I could also use a whole super 6 kickdown setup... Mine is a truck application.
Have a lokar setup I "could" use if I don't find ...

So are you going from a throttle rod to cable? I might be reading this wrong, but are you also going from manual to automatic? Some days my reading comp is weak. My understanding is you have a 1966 valiant with no linkage and you want a functional working 2bbl throttle linkage for an automatic transmission. Is this correct?

I believe 66 was the first year without the twisty rod throttle. All had cables.

Somwhat, I have a 66 Valiant, that has a 904 (which uses the bell crank accelerator and throttle pressure linkage). I'm installing a 76-up accelerator pedal (hanging cable type). I have the 76 accelerator bracket for the cable accelerator and throttle pressure rod type linkage. I don't want to use the aftermarket cable throttle pressure setup....unless absolutely as a last resort (just not a big fan of that hoaky cable stuff where it has to be setup to pull the lever deal).

I'm missing the flat, curved and slotted rod that goes between the carb and the pivot link for the throttle pressure.
I have a pivot link, but not sure if it's the correct one. The link I have measures 1 3/4" center to center between the two pins.
I have all kinds of rods that go to the transmission lever, so that is not a problem. I can make one work there.

The rod with the three red X's is the one I'm missing completely
The pivot link circled in yellow is the one I need the measurement on between the two red V's
