Norm, Parker....anybody.

What time will everything start on Saturday? Since we will be the only ones there will we need to be out by a certain time?

Does the track have a Test-N-Tune on Friday night? If so what time?

Sorry I can't make this one, at least I won't be running. I'm planning on Reynolds next Spring. I hope to meet some of you folks there. Will any of you be at Commerce Sunday?

TOM I AM NOT SURE OF THE EXACT TIME BUT I THINK DALE HAS THE TRACK RESERVED FOR ALL DAY. I WOULD GIVE DALE A CALL SINCE HE IS THE PERSON ARRANGING EVERYTHING. HE IS IN ST LOUIS AS I WRITE THIS BUT SHOULD BE BACK HOME ON SUNDAY. THE TEST AND TUNE WILL PROBABLY TAKE PLACE ON SAT. MORNING. HE ALSO MENTIONED A COOKOUT AFTER THE RACE EITHER AT THE TRACK OR AT HIS FARM. LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU THERE. NORM

Sorry to be such a "Budinski", but I thought you were talking about the Hayes Mopar thing at the Atlanta Dragway this weekend...

Hey no problem. :D

You should try to make the slant six event at Paradise at the end of Sept.
Thanks for the reply Norm. Just wanted to know if it was going to be worth our while to get there Friday night if there was a test-n-tune session.

Is there any more info available on this meet? What time do the gates open? Will there be any other cars there, beside the slant six cars, on Sat? What time for time trials, race, secure track? What is the entry fee? Is track 1/4 or 1/8 mile?

I have tried calling Dale and all I get is " Thank you for calling Dale Rose RV - Home of the worlds fastest slant 6 powered white plymouth arrow"

Just kidding. I can not get anyone to answer so Norm can you find out what times everything will be so people can plan?

Thanks

Tom

OK HERE IS THE SCOOP ON THE RACE IN GA. THE GATES OPEN AT 9:00am WITH TIME TRIALS STARTING AT 11:00. THE TRACK WILL ALSO HAVE BRACKET RACING ALSO THAT DAY WHICH YOU CAN ENTER. COST IS $50.00 FOR THE SLANT SIX RACING. AN ADDITIONAL $20.00 IF YOU COMPETE IN THE NO BOX CLASS BRACKET RACING AND $30.00 FOR THE BOX CLASS. THE TRACK WILL ALSO LET THOSE OF YOU THAT WANT TO STAY OVERNIGHT AT THE TRACK. THEN ON SUNDAY THE TRACK WILL HAVE NORMAL BRACKET RACING. THIS IS DIFFERENT THAN MY ORIGINAL POST BUT I JUST TALKED TO DALE AND GOT THE CORRECT INFO. THE BRACKET RACING ON SAT WILL BE MOPAR AGAINST EVERYONE ELSE.
