Looking for a good trunk lock cylinder for a 64 Valiant Signet.

I believe any 63-66 A body will work. Possibly others, but not sure.

You can just get one of these

It will not be original like the OE style, but it will fit. Additional keys are much easier to source at your local ̶l̶o̶c̶k̶s̶m̶i̶t̶h̶/̶h̶a̶r̶d̶w̶a̶r̶e̶ ̶s̶t̶o̶r̶e̶ key copying kiosk of doom.

Jason needs a lock cylinder for his 64 Signet. I thought my rusty convertible might have one, but it did not.

The link you provided is for a 69 Dart. Do you know if the 63-66 and 67-69 or 70-76 are interchangeable?

Yes I know It's for a'69 dart.

It should work for this application as well. It will not look OE, but It's sort of a universal replacement part.

I put this part # on a '62 and it worked fine. It did not look OE, but worked to open the trunk with a Key.

I was going to take it to Jason this weekend. I might be able to get a photo this weekend. I’m not sure if he wants an original type replacement or just something that will work.

There was a new trunk lock cylinder along with the new door lock cylinders for '66. As I recall, this '66-'72 cylinder Greg linked is a drop-in for the '60-'65 cars (backed up by the application list going '60-'72), and I don't remember it looking at all out of place on my '64, but that was many years ago.

For '73 a more secure setup was brought out, and it's readily retrofittable to the older cars. Here's an article about it from the December 1985 issue (№ 2) of Slant-6 Quarterly.
