I have a 1964 W200 Dodge Power Wagon with a Slant Six engine. This truck came with 15" 8 lug wheels. A while ago someone told me that there was a problem with this type of wheel, which I vaguely remember as being something about there being a very small lip to retain the bead of the tire. I don't remember exactly what the issue was. Does anyone know of any such problem with 15" 8 lug wheels?

Thanks,

Ironmonger

Are they a split rim?
I remember probably 25 years ago my cousin had a 63 Dodge town panel, and for some unknown reason he wanted 15" wheels vs the 16s it came with.
I remember him having to go to some tire store that sold custom wheels and he had to end up special ordering 15" with 8 lugs.
