So long story short I changed out the front coil springs on my 83 and its bouncy as hell. Cant really drive it. I used some moog springs from a 350 cummins. Is that the issue? I changed out the front shocks. And still bouncy. New lower bajj joints and bushings. Is it the coils? Or do i need to do ab alignment to it. I put those on for the lift. |

Your slant D150 is likely 4800 gvwr. Maybe a tad more. Those D350 Cummins springs are as wrong as it gets. Unfortunately, nothing will fix that other than getting those super HD springs off and use the correct ones. |

I can guarantee you that your front end alignment is out of whack. But also just an alignment won't help at this point. Alignment has its quirks and issues but gets blamed for much that it has nothing to do with... (Huh that also sounds like a ballast resistor haha..... I'd bet someone would blame that resistor for a bad ride even) |

I am confused. Even though the springs are wrong, why is it bouncing if the shocks are doing their job? Seems to me the suspension should be stiff not bouncy ?? I was wrong once also! ![]() ![]() |

New shocks all the way around or just one end? What brand and quality level of shocks did you get?for example the low priced blue Monroe's are crap and not worth the price of the box they come with. Is it bouncey in front back or both? |

If the fronts are too stiff with worn out back springs the back can bounce like a yoyo. Does it bounce "hard" like a lumber wagon or is it squishy? |

How much will those lift those up?

Squishy front. If thats the correct terminology. It feels like the front has shot shocks
