If anyone is needing a pan gasket for a 904. I just got a deal on a batch of the newer Mopar pan gaskets for the 42RE. These gaskets are ridged with rubber seals embossed. They are supposedly reusable. They will fit or can be used on all 904's back to 1960. There is a minor draw back to using them on a cable shifted 904, in that you cannot remove the parking pawl housing without removing the pan.
So, if you are needing/wanting any of these. I will have some available, but not for a couple of weeks. It might be best if you can wait for a in person delivery, as the shipping would probably be more than the gasket. This is tentative, but I'm thinking the price will be about $10-$12 each. Steve Adams said he wants some, but I don't know how many. These gaskets are the "cats meow". Just wish I could find a deal on the same style for the 727 trans.
