| Post subject: | WTB: high performance 225/6 head or complete performance engine |
WTB: looking for a fully done, ready to bolt on, /6 head with (new) larger valves, heavier springs, milled, ported, 3 angle valve job, etc!! Can’t find a machine shop to do it locally! Alternatively, looking for a complete performance built engine, or someone that can rebuild mine properly!! Looking for a 225+ hp naturally aspirated build!! Engine currently has a Clifford 6=8 setup (cam, aluminum intake, Edelbrock 500, split headers, dual exhaust, Pertronix ignition. Engine needs a rebuild anyway (burning oil on acceleration, running terrible). Running a stock converter, a904 on the column, 7.25 rear with 3.91 open gears and 28” tires in a ‘67 Barracuda convertible. Maybe a hotter cam, double roller chain, higher compression? Need help on this, and willing to pay to get it done right!! I’m near Tampa, FL, but willing to travel within a 6-8 hour drive! |
