Hopefully they can manage and be successful them without selling out to a real estate developer. |

I am guardedly optimistic, but that's a huge chunk to lay out at once. I'm hoping this isn't another Evan Knoll deal. That guy screwed a lot of people. |

Uh-Oh, MIR has told the IHRA to remove them from the list because they have not been sold, nor are they for sale..........

Update: It appears they are picking them off one by one. They have so far got Galot, National Trail, Milan, and I think, Dragway 42. |

They've had events at National Trail and Milan. Amazingly, both tracks are now named Darana, one is Dragway and the other Raceway. So far the participants are loving it.

IHRA seems to be doing well. They've now purchased 2 defunct tracks, plus bought Maple Grove in PA> The others are Heartland Park in Topeka, KS, and Memphis Motorsports Park. They are supposedly trying for Atlanta Dragway too. |

I think they are trying to buy Motor Mile which is kinda close to you isn't it Lou? They've also bought Atlanta Dragway and gotten zoning approval to reopen it. |

Motor Mile in Fairlawn, VA is about 15 Miles from Lou. While on your way there, it is worth your time to stop at the Pycone Creamery, an old Gas Station turned ice cream stand by a car guy. 7195 Lee Hwy Fairlawn, VA 24141 It is right on US 11. Greg |

His Ice cream is good.
It is Lou-approved, and he is from Wisconsin, where all of the Ice Cream Gods think about stuff like that every other day. I bet it's not quite the same as a peach milkshake from Chick-fil-A. |
