FYI and help. I recently sorted out that my sometimes not starting cold issue is the ignition pickup wires being ancient and brittle. So I ordered what I thought would be a no brainer option, the Standard brand LX103. The wires from the coil to the piece that clips into the distributor body are too short. dOnly sorted that out after it's all apart. They would have to literally go through the reluctor wheel to get to the slot. I'm of course returning it but I am still without a reliable part. (always great putting the part you were junking back in because it works and the new one doesn't.) Can someone please tell me an alternative replacement part that's better quality or at least fits?

Thanks,
Daryll

ps I did not search for similar messages. Forgive me if this is redundant to something posted maybe yesterday. I just don't have it in me today.
