Things are finally getting put together, hopefully I'll have it finished by next weekend. .030 overbore, .030 off the block, .060 off the head. Head got a mild port and gasket match, standard size valves but I had them back cut, 340 springs with comp cams retainers - 48cc chambers. Entire assembly balanced (I'm pretty shocked at how much material was removed off towards the front of the crank versus the rear). Deck clearance .163 with a gasket squish to .02 should put me at 9.25:1 JP billet timing set, Dutra RV10 RDP cam, Flowkooler water pump, rebuilt OE oil pump, Offenhauser 4bbl intake, Edelbrock AVS2 500, Clifford headers, distributor setup for HEI, ARP head and rob bolts. I think that about covers it. I'm putting it together now because I'm moving across the State and my build buddy is here. So we'll get it together and drop it in the Barracuda (I had it painted a few months ago and have been slowly putting it together since) to make the move a *lot* easier and I'll spend the winter putting the rest of the car together. Sucks to get this part done but having to wait *months* to see what it will do. Any guesses on where the power numbers might be? |
