Hello Slant Six folks! After many years it's time for the my Valiant to go. 15 years ago this forum was an immense help, thank you. The great legend of the Slant Six held true for me, what an amazing car this has been.

I was fortunate enough to have this car worked on by Chuck Rivers (if you see this Chuck you may remember I was referred to you by our late mutual friend Glenn Howard). Chuck installed an electronic ignition among other maintenance things. That was a long time ago though.

I put a $750 price on the ad because... I don't really know why. If anyone here is interested in this car you it can be yours for the low price of free.

Looks like a great car to me. Glad you had a nice experience with it. Not much rust, to those of us from more eastern parts of the US. I was just in Vancouver, WA a month ago, and might have been tempted at that time, although my mountain of parts to fit that car are in Virginia. My wife has relatives around Portland, so we'll be back. I wonder if Dave Mueller (Kelso) or Doug Powers (Portland) might be interested. I'll pass on the word. I have so many parts that would drop into that car, it is really actually funny! Right down to a front blue bench seat in great shape. Ships passing in the night...

Went to a good home and I'm sure I'll see that car at the Woodburn Drag Strip with Holly racing it.

I thought of that family when I first saw the ad, so that's great they got it!
