I'm using a Clifford intake manifold with a stock exhaust manifold in my turbo build. I originally used a 1/8" plate to block off the heat riser, but it warped. So I'm making a 1/4" thick version. Would anyone else want one of these plates? They'd be $20 or less if ordered in quantity. It won't fit any intake manifold that works with the stock exhaust manifold. |

Maybe you are saying that if you use this on the exhaust manifold you cant have a working Exhaust hotbox junction any longer to the intake manifold? In other words It will work with Clifford, Aussiespeed, Cain, Lynx, and Reproduction / Original Hyperpack, or other custom intakes with no exhaust heat provision. Greg |

Sorry if that was a bit confusing - this bolts to the exhaust manifold. I meant to say that you can't sandwich this in between an exhaust manifold and an intake that already bolts to the stock exhaust manifold, like a Super Six. For the Lynx, Hyper Pak, etc, you'd need to make sure you have at least a quarter inch between them and a stock exhaust manifold. |
