Did anyone mill a head on a angle on a race slant?
Just wondering out loud.
I hope there are a few racers still reading the threads.

I remember Lou talking and posting about it quite some time ago. I don’t know if he actually did it or if he was just talking about it. I lean toward thinking that he did it.

been hanging out on this forum off and on since the old board and I can honestly say this is the first time I have ever heard mention of this. This is an strange and interesting idea. Makes me wonder what the local machine shop would charge for this and if they would even be willing to do it. As luck would have it my only spare heads are early-mid 60s pieces.

Meril gave me the idea when I first visited him in 1993, and I did 2 heads in the 90s with angle mills. Who knows if it makes a difference? Those heads have worked great. Can give more detail if you wish.
