Mason Dixon has posted their schedule for the Mopar event this Spring on May the 17th. There is also a Test & Tune on Saturday. So if there is interest in having 2 Slant 6 races in the North East we should be able to. So what we need to decide is if there is enough people willing to commit to the races that weekend to have our own race. If there is not enough I will still be there and race in the regular mopar classes. Enough racers to me means at least 8 cars. So think about your schedules and whether or no we want to keep this great group going. I do.

I will not contact Elmer till I here back from some of you! Start beating the bushes.

Racers:

Rick Covalt--------Valiant
Secret Driver-------Rick's Truck
Andrew Shank----Truck
Lou Madsen------
Matt ----------Secret vehicle
Brian Droschak
Rob Simmons - posssibly
Colton See - Friend of ours fixing up a 68 Barracuda.

Thanks, Rick.

I just noticed that date and put it on my calendar. Not sure I can make it, but likely. May is pretty full. Whether we have a Slant 6 race or not, I'll try to come. I also have Carlisle on my calendar, AND hopefully we can get an "all hands" Slant 6 reunion race at Clay City or similar this summer??

Rick, I don't know what I will bring but I will definitely be bringing a slant of some sort to race.
Count me in.

For me, propably not, but too soon to tell. Waiting to see about the "BIG" race. Most likely the only one I might be able to make.

Unfortunately I have a dirt track event in PA (Jalopy Showdown) on Saturday and a trip I have to lead for work on Sunday. If there are other races nearby though I should hopefully have my rollbar in place this spring. That way Mason Dixon and other tracks should let me run in the other classes. I did run up at Mason Dixon last summer in the vintage eliminators class where we don't have to have rollbars since most of our old cars are pretty slow.

I would really enjoy coming to a Slant 6 race. I will be home in KY at that time, so I will do my best to make it.

Rick, I picked up a 71 Scamp to race at Mason Dixon.
It's a basic slant six automatic car, not full race, but should be fun.
This will have to do until the 65 Belvedere is ready.

I would love to race, but I am not sure if Ruster will be ready :( I have a few days off to get jammin' on it this week.

If Ruster is not ready, Ava and I will be at the Swap Meet.
