Not my car; I found it on a late-night EwTube rabbitholing run. It's at a dealership in MA; here.

These cars are the European version of the Argentine "Dodge Coronado" rebody of the '63-'66 Dart. So they're the narrower A-body, not the wider US '67-up one. Mix of A- and B-body styling; it looks like if a US '68 Dart and '68 Coronet sedan had a kid, with a little Ford around the edges (specifically, those front turn signals).

Lots to see in the pics. Factory 2bbl setup, but not with that carburetor. Looks like whoever put that Chinese carburetor just decided the air cleaner assembly wouldn't be needed and discarded it, which sucks because that's a hard part to find. Also, a US alternator (black lolwut‽) has been retrofitted. Other than that it's pretty much original, including that real nice instrument panel (speedo looks stuck). These cars could be bought with A/C, and it was of the general type shown here, with the York/Tecumseh compressor, but Mark IV was a US brand. I don't know if Barreiros, the Spanish Chrysler affiliate who built these, bought aircon systems out of the US. Seems at least a little unlikely given that they sourced so much other stuff from European suppliers. Hella made the taillights, Kinby-FAESSA made the headlamps, Jaeger made the gauges, etc.

I sure wouldn't want to get caught needing a windshield or a backglass in North America for this car.

The EwTube vid is here. Could wish the jackass salesdroid would throw his mouth in Park for a change, but if you put up with it long enough, you get to hear him say stuff like the great thing about having an old car is if you decide to sell, you always get all your money back out of it, which it sounds like he's said often enough to be able to do it without cracking up or his nose growing longer. Used-car salesmen gonna do like that.

Thanks for posting, Dan. I like that design quite a bit. Someone really took care of that. Hmmmmm.

Car Model: Barracuda coupé 1970 170ci 3spd Manual (Export)
Hi, it's been a while since I posted here, just to say I bought one of those Dodge 3700gt circa 2018 (I'm in France and they are not common here neither).
It was rusted out like nothing else I'd ever seen before, with the shackles and rear par of the leaf spring showing in the trunk, I could pass my fist through the roof around the back window...

To add to Dan's information on those, it had a ZF power steering, definitely a super six with a BBD.
All the electrics (starter motor, generator, ignition distributor, coil...) were FEMSA.
Also was a loaded car, front and rear sway bars, front KH disc brakes, console, underdash AC.
The engine and transmission cast iron parts don't show any Chrysler casting number, so I guess Bareiros purchased some older tooling from Chrysler and did the casting in Spain. Most of the car has metric fasteners, but the engine/transmission and suspension/brakes have a lot of "hybrids" (standard threads with metric heads).
I saved all the glassware, stainless trims... And all the FEMSA electrics, so if anyone needs some parts in the US (or elsewhere) I'm willing to ship.

The 225 short block and the a833 transmission are in my 1970 Barracuda since this summer, the spanish Dodge was truly a low mileage car that was abandoned in the south of France very early in it's life. I was glad to get that 14.000km engine, inside it looked new at first glance, still coated with molybdenum assembly lube, not an ounce of sludge, just old smelly oil.

But looking more closely the materials and assembly quality of the engine were mediocre to put it gently.
The head bolts were half loose (maybe never retorqued?)
The rod and main bearings babbitt delaminated, the valve tips were mushroomed, piston rings scraped the cylinder badly, cam and lifters starting to wipeout... Really strange!
I polished and honed everything, fitted US made bearings, rings, and lifters. And used a 71 head and hardware from a 198ci Duster with a comp cam I had from a pile of parts I bought in Belgium. About 1200 miles on it so far.
