No spark not sure the reason, Was driving battery stopped charging checked the alternator it was getting charge so I replaced the voltage regulator, It’s just cranking no spark checked with a spark tester on the plug wire. Now what should I check. |

Is this a Lean Burn, regular Mopar electronic ignition, or something non-stock/aftermarket? If it's a conventional Mopar ignition and you have a voltmeter, I have a list of what to check here: Testing Mopar electronic ignitions |

That doesn't compute. If the alternator was charging, then the reg would be good (unless overcharging). How did you determine the alternator was charging, if the engine was not running? Even if the alternator/charging system was bad (not functioning) as long as the battery had enough voltage to crank the engine, the charging system is not what caused loss of spark.Do you have a wiring diagram for the vehicle? If you do, post back, and we can walk you through testing steps. Also as Mat asked, we need to know what system you have. Stock, or not, and if not stock, what it is. |
